<p style="text-align: justify;">At the present, the City of Compton does not have an Art Gallery, Culture Center, Aaron Brothers or even a Michaels Arts &amp; Crafts store. However, if the public will go on-line at <a target="_blank" href="http://www.refresheverything.com/art4all" rel="nofollow" title="Refresh America">http://www.refresheverything.com/art4all</a> and vote for the &#8220;Art 4 All&#8221; Project the Hub Heritage, Culture &amp; Art Gallery will become one of Compton’s most vital and crucial cultural crossroad.</p>
<p><span id="more-1118"></span></p>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<p>Ray Fox requested Fifty-Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) from Pepsi’s &#8220;Refresh America Campaign&#8221;. The funds will be used for art projects and to help establish a gift and snack shop at the Hub Heritage, Culture &amp; Art Gallery in the City of Compton. The paramount purpose of this proposed art project is to enrich the City of Compton with an art project that unites the community, provide a wide variety of community art programs and services, technical assistance to local artists and establish a vital and crucial community art and culture center.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">
<div>The services and activities will include, but not be limited to:</div>
</p>
<div>
<div>1. A Public Culture and Art Center</div>
<div>2. An Anti-Graffiti Mural Program</div>
<div>3. Art Classes and Cultural Exhibits</div>
<div>4. A Community Arts Newsletter</div>
<div>5. Technical &amp; Financial Assistance for Artists</div>
<div>6. An Art Registry for Community Artists.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>The Hub Heritage Culture and Art Gallery will be a vital and crucial cultural crossroad in the City of Compton. It will give life and vitality to the arts as well as provide Compton with services and activities that are not available in the entire City. Whereas, Compton does not have an Art Gallery, Cultural Center, Aaron Brother&#8217;s or Michael Arts &amp; Crafts retailer in the entire City, the proposed project will provide alternatives to gang and drug activity, support local artists, provide art framing &amp; matting services, and share positive perspectives with different ethnic cultures through visual arts, spoken word and music. The HHCAG will become one of Compton&#8217;s most vital and important community cultural resource.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>On January 13th, 2010, the Pepsi Corporation launched its Refresh America Campaign. The Pepsi Corporations have committed millions to support public programs and projects throughout America. Ray Fox stated &#8220;the requested $50,000.00 is for proposed art programs and to establish a gift and snack shop. No funds requested will be used for administration, rent or utility cost.</div>
<div> </div>
<div>I ask you, family, friends and the public to vote for the &#8220;Art 4 All&#8221; Project at <a target="_blank" href="http://www.refresheverything.com/art4all " rel="nofollow" title="Refresh America" target="_blank">www.refresheverything.com/art4all</a> and help establish the Hub Heritage, Culture &amp; Art Gallery in Compton, California.</div>
<p>
