Lincoln University: The 1st HBCU
On May 24th, 1854 Lincoln University in Pennsylvania was founded as the first black college (HBCU) in the United States of America. Below you will find a photo of some students that attended the university in 1916. This photo includes Daniel Hill a prominent writer, community activist and business person who created Canada’s first human rights consulting firm.
