We have recently added more Black Motivational Posters and art prints to our site. These prints can be found in a variety of places on our site. You can find some in our Black Motivational Posters Collection, Black Histroy Art Collection, Men of Honor Art Collection and our Black Female Leaders Art Collection. We pride ourselves on carrying positive African American images that inspire and educate. We also have recently reduced the prices on several of our collections in order to make these prints even more affordable and of greater value. Enjoy our Black Motivational Posters!

We have recently added the Black History Art Collection to our site. This collection consists of historical African American art and is inspired by subjects as ancient as Osiris and Isis all the way up to modern day icons such as Martin Luther King and Malcolm X.

We have recently updated our Kevin “WAK” Williams Art Gallery.  We have added some of his latest releases such as Ophelia, Still Standing, Style Portfolio and more!  Take the time to visit our Kevin “WAK” Williams again and enjoy his latest releases and our updated content.

We have recently updated our Frank Morrison Art Gallery so that it is more informative and also has more of his latest works available for sale. We have added his latest release, The Dance, as well as Blue Note and Mi Amor. Also, the descriptions of each print has been expanded so that you know exactly what the edition size is, what type of print it is (i.e. lithograph or giclee), and whether the print is signed and numbered or not. This was information that we neglected to put when we originally began showcasing his work on our site. Enjoy the wonderful art created by Frank Morrison!

We have recently created a new gallery on the site called the Motherly Love Art Collection.  In this collection you will find images of African American mothers and children.  These images show the affection, strength, warmth and beauty that African American mothers are historically known  for.  This gallery also contains numerous art prints that make great Mother’s Day gifts.

He a’int heavy by Gilbert Young is finally back in inventory at The Black Art Depot. This work of art, which is probably Gilbert’s most famous work, is an open edition but sells out quickly and can be unavailable to the public and retailers alike for long periods of time. The batch that we have in inventory now is also signed by the artist, Gilbert Young, himself. It was brought to our attention that page 2 of the Black Female Leaders Art Collection was not working properly yesterday. When checking out the shopping cart would display incorrect print names and item id’s. This problem was fixed last night and the page and shopping cart are now operating properly. We have recently added the artwork of Keith Mallett to our site. The first page of art prints by this talented and popular artist from Pennsylvania is available now. We plan on adding another four pages of his artwork by mid next week. Keith Mallett‘s art is known to be unique, cultural and colorful. Some of his works are even embellished with gold foil to make them stand out even more. This was done to make the pages easier to navigate and to also put our most popular galleries and collections closer to the top of the page so that our valued customers can access them easily.
