Let Us Make Man

For those that live in the Metropolitan Atlanta area Let Us Make Man, an organization whose mission is to use effective skills trainings to foster hope, strengthening and empowering the black man to resume his role in the restoration, salvation and liberation of our community, is having an event on Monday April 21st, 2008. The event will consist of a discussion that’s theme will be: “Was Reverend Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. Wrong: An examination of Black Liberation Theology, Politics and Race in America.” The event will be at the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) Chapel at 700 M.L. King Jr. Drive. The panelists will include Rev. Dr. Aaron Parker, Professor of Religion- Morehouse College; Rev. Timothy McDonald, Pastor First Iconium Baptist Church; Rev. Dr. Maisha Handy, Professor of Christian Education, ITC; Rev. Dr. Mark Lomax, Pastor First African Presbyterian Church; Rev. Derrick Rice, Pastor Sankofa United Church of Christ.
