Been a long time coming, but we are proud to now be able to accept pre-order’s for Edwin Lester’s latest work entitled “Restored”. This print follows along the theme of his previous masterpieces “Restoration (Female)” and “Restoration (Male)”. Both of those limited editions sold very quickly and we anticipate the same for the his latest installment in the Restoration series.

I think this is just beautiful. When I saw it in the thumbnail, my heart just jumped. Then when it opened up into the larger picture, my heart sank a little when I realised they were crying. Why are they crying? Then I saw the title and I understood why. But I really enjoyed that moment when I thought it was about the joy of relationship centered in a love of the word of God. I have too many pictures already that depict our pain. I would love this without the tears.
Wonderful work and I am sure it will be a real blessing to many people.

Love it! the small picture does not do justice to the acutal 28×28. There are scruputres in the tears… absolutely beautiful. The couple’s tears are tears of joy and not pain. Joy for restoration with God and eachother. This picture is all about love and the joy it brings. Edwin Lester has created yet another masterpiece with this one. I’m looking forward to his next project, Sheltered.

The master has done it again! Edwin Lester’s Restored is simply one of those pieces whose detail evokes emotion and leaves you wanting more. As an artist, Edwin Lester has proven to be one the the premier artist of our time. He is wonderful at adding intricate details that tend to be hidden in his work. Look for hidden scriptures, thoughts, sayings etc. I’m anxiously anticipating his next project and looking forward to what Mr. Lester has in store for the art world in 2010.
